The university acknowledges the efforts of the hundreds of individuals who have freely given their time to assist University sport, and the University's sporting clubs, to grow. The University awards Outstanding Service Awards to members of clubs who have shown a high level of achievement over a continued period of time.
The University also honours those students who, whilst representing the University, demonstrated that they were high achievers or elite athletes in their sport. These students are awarded a University Blue or Half-Blue, a nationally recognised award signifying sporting excellence.
